Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the changes in the Disposable Income of taxpayers in Greece
by occupational group over the period 1973-1993, as well as their tax shares as a percentage in their
personal income. The results of these estimates indicate the impact of the tax policy followed by the
governments and the effect of changes in the economic conditions during the time period under consideration.
