Αποστάσεις για την ταξινόμηση σε ποιοτικές μεταβλητές (ταξινόμηση σε λογικά δεδομένα)

Abstract

In this paper we study how the distance between objects which are characterizewd by qualitative
variables, is influenced by three differents forms of distances, the eucleidien, the X2 and Jaccard.
Our aim is to compare the above distances and to find the best distance for a certain set of data. The
best distance depends on the number of classes of variables and the repetition of objects.
